HOW MAY WE BE OF SERVICE?
Lawn Care service includes the following:
1. Mowing with a professional grade lightweight mower that won’t tear up your yard
2. Line trimming all the areas on the property including fences, around posts, trees, and curbs
3. Edging the sidewalks, driveways, and curbs with a metal blade edger
4. Cleaning up all grass clippings on the property. The price you pay is determined by the square footage of the turf on the property.
We don’t up-charge based on your zip code; the price is the price, and it’s fair across the board.
weed control and fertilization We offer a detailed lawn care program designed to control weeds as well as promote healthy lawns giving you a lawn pleasing to the eye.
Applying weed control products is not the only step needed toward a beautiful lawn. You see, one of the best ways to control weeds is by growing thick, healthy turf.
A thick, beautiful lawn will do a better job of choking out weeds than a thin lawn. This can be seen in many lawns where the most likely spot to get weeds is areas in which the grass is thin and not as healthy. For this reason, we also apply premium quality fertilizer.
aeration When your lawn looks healthy, you can enjoy it more. And keeping your lawn healthy involves aerating it. That’s because, over time, thatch builds up and the soil gets compacted due to foot traffic, heavy rainfall, and parking vehicles on your lawn.
As a result, roots can’t take in enough nutrients; nor can they breathe, leading to suffocation. But with aeration from Mid Ga Turf pros, we can open up the soil, cut down on thatch and compaction, and ensure your lawn has what it needs to thrive.
At Mid Ga Turf Pros, we use a method called core aeration. Unlike spike aeration, which simply uses spikes on a roller, this process involves removing small cores or plugs of grass, soil, and thatch from throughout your lawn.
In the weeks that follow, these cores break down and feed your lawn with key nutrients. Aeration also alleviates compaction, enabling your lawn to take in more fertilizer, oxygen, and water.
